Caribbean Villas Hotel is far enough from San Pedro Town to preserve your peace and quiet but a 10 minute walk along the beach will take you to San Pedro with its quaint shops, many restaurants and nightlife.
With comfortable rooms in 2.5 acres of gardens, this Oceanside hotel is fronted by 250 feet of private sandy beach and featuring 2 ocean front fresh-water pools and the friendly AMBER Beach Bar & Grill serving Breakfast, Lunch and Tropical Drinks all day..
All rooms and suites are air conditioned and have their own private entrance. The bathrooms are private, have showers and free toiletries.
You can snorkel at the artificial reef located at the end of our private 300 foot dock. Tour boats will pick you up from the dock to take you snorkeling, diving, manatee watching, cave tubing or to visit Mayan ruins.
San Pedro Airport can be reached in 5 minutes by car, and Holchan Marine Park is 5 km from Caribbean Villas.

Future citizens
Nigel was soooo great in helping my daughter and I navigate the island. Mr. LeRoi was my favorite excursions guy...if you want to schedule any extra activities...he's the man to ask. Also I'll like to send a special appreciation to Tropical Cart Rentals for being so gracious when I had a slight golf problem and they were there and resolved it immediately. All in all I loved my trip and plan to return real soon ????

Good value and beautiful location
Location was right on the beach.
Food was just OK.
AC was great.
Banana bread was on the menu but they said they couldn’t find bananas to make it.
Very friendly staff.
Massage by the ocean was amazing.
The sorghum was so bad that I wouldn’t go in the ocean. Such a disappointment.
Very basic accommodations
The walls were a bit thin and I could hear the guests above me every night.
Would have preferred bottled water instead of filling up used bottles..
The pool were small with kids in both . Would be nice if there was an adults only.

What was the highlight of Caribbean Villas Hotel
Perfect quiet getaway.
We loved our stay! It's modest and not flashy but was perfect for the low key stay we were looking for. The location is outside downtown which we preferred - a golf cart came in handy to explore. It's walking distance to multiple food options and was a 5 minute walk from the Belize Pro Dive center that we were using. The staff were all really great and accommodating- even decorating our room for our anniversary! The beach and views are beautiful and it was nice to cool off in the pool in the afternoon. Special shout out to Nigel at the front desk for always being ready to help, to Glen and the other bar staff for great service, and to the manager Beth who made sure to check in with guests.
Considering the comparatively low price of course we weren't expecting a high end hotel. There are some parts of the property that are a bit worn. I wish there was a comfortable place to sit inside our room but we did only have the basic room. This wouldn't be a problem if you booked into a villa which all looked really nice.

Relaxing and peaceful beach side stay
Lovely layout with both pool and beach and lots of sun beds. Convenient beach bar serving food and drinks. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I wanted to treat myself to 2 nights in a hotel while backpacking and not leave the hotel for that full day so this was perfect.
Location is south San Pedro so almost impossible to walk to the main bit of town, you need a golf buggy. There are a few nearby shops and restaurants you can walk to however.
